The Schiehallion Hotel Bar Bistro in the centre of Aberfeldy – offers a popular bistro bar which is well supported by locals. The menu offers a good selection of traditional and seasonal dishes which include vegetarian and gluten free options, all are cooked to order. You will find an excellent choice of meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, using the fresh local produce whenever available. Prince of India Pitlochry Tandoori Restaurant specialists in Bagladeshi style British curries. You will find all the popular Indian continent dishes, including authentic Balti dishes, Chef's recommendation and European dishes (for non-curry eaters in the party). Their chef was trained in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The restaurant is located just off 30 metres off Pitlochry Main Street on Station Road, opposite McKays Hotel and Bar, right in the middle of this beautiful Victorian Highland Town. Bothy Bar at the Atholl Arms Hotel, in Blair Atholl. The hotel was built and once owned by the Dukes and Earls of Atholl. The Bothy Bar is 'pub' character bar ideal for those visiting Blair Castle. Timber surrounds and overhead beams with an open wood fire to warm you up the cold winter days. Bar meals are served all day along with a selection of local real ales. There is an outside Beer Garden. Open 7 days all year.

The Old Mill Inn - winners of the title Inn of the Year – offers food, weekend live music every weekend from 9pm and beds. Indoor and outdoor seating. Their dishes are created to offer a wide choice, incorporating everything from old favourites such as golden whole tail scampi & golden chips through to a smorgasbord of delectable salmon on our popular Tay salmon platter. Victorias Restaurant has a loyal following of customers, due to high standards of cuisine and service personally operated by the owners Fiona and Angus John and their family. An ideal venue to a bite to eat or a refreshing beverage, anything from a speciality coffee, patisseries, snacks, sandwiches etc from 10am, through to the bistro style dinner menu from 5.30pm till late during the season. The Chraggan Weem or Ailean Chraggan Restaurant is a popular with the locals and visitors alike, having built up an enviable reputation. It opened its doors in the 1960s, locals affectionately call it the "Chraggs", besides that it is the local social hub for area. In the winter the Ailean Chraggan bar/restaurant has an innovative temporary wood fire that adds that extra warmth for the cold winter days. It is open 7 days all year. The popular Foyer Café in the Birnam Arts is just off the A9 a popular stopping off point for many travelling along the A9, as well as locals and visitors. For the first time in many years to the public Pine Trees Restaurant is open to the public. Whether for lunches, high teas or dinners. Reservations for dinner are highly recommended, as it does get very busy in the evenings. The menus offer a selection of classic dishes, which include local fish, lamb or game. For the more adventurous there is haggis tartlet or the Pigeon in Sherry Sauce, Orkney Herring, Arran Mustards and cheese from the Isle of Mull to name a few. Open all year.
The popular Taymouth Courtyard Restaurant, has a comprehensive choice of food catering for the whole family. Breakfast Menu (Served daily 10.15-11.45am), Snack Menu (Served 12 to 5pm), Bar Menu (Served 12 to 3pm & 5 to 7pm) and a Dinner Menu and Evening Restaurant Menu (served from 5 to 9.pm (Sunday – Thursday) to 9.30pm (Friday & Saturday). The Bar has a lovely warm open fire for those colder days and a large outside patio seating area for the sunny days of summer. There is a large outside children’s play area, 50 metres away, where the children can play under your watchful eye.
McKays is a great value pub renowned for its food, large screen TV ideal for those sporting occasions and evening entertainment (check their web site for details). The menu boasts other pub classics such as fish and chips, steak and ale pie etc. Each day McKays Bar has a special food promotion. They have an excellent reputation for the steaks. Food is served all day long and children are allowed in until 8pm.
The Woodland Bistro in the Royal Dunkeld Hotel is so named, as the bistro is decorated with a woodland theme. Images of woodlands, animals and careful lighting gives it a lovely peaceful atmosphere. The menu is created using fresh local produce by innovative chefs. “Dog friendly, with dogs allowed in the bar” also “Very friendly and accommodating staff!!!”
The Moulin Inn pub/bar has been the locals drink house from 1695, today it is a popular venue proudly boasting its own ales brewed in its own micro brewery at the back of the Moulin Inn. The Pub refurbishment opened up old fireplaces and beautiful stone walls, that had been hidden for many years. We added lots of cosy niches using wood and beams Bar meals, open log fire and courtyard for those lovely hot summer days.
Fonab Castle a Scottish baronial castle, once the home of the Sandeman port and sherry dynasty. Today a brand new 5 star hotel overlooking Loch Faskally offering both formal and informal dining. Opened in 2013 by the Clark family, who are dedicated to make it one of Scotland's top hotels. The Brasserie and lounge provide a wide choice of quality produce cooked dishes to the highest standard. They also will try and meet any dietary requirements. There is a superb range of wines and champagnes, from source to their cellar. Open all year.
The Black Watch and 40 cover Croft restaurant, is Aberfeldy's oldest and most famous public house, it has been in operation since the 1890's. The menu has traditional and varied range of choices which caters for a wide selections of tastes. The restaurant at the Black Watch Inn Sunday Roast (beef or chicken) served all day from 12noon to 9pm. Fridays is Steak Night from 6pm to 9pm. The decked Beer Garden is popular during the summer months.
