On YOU TUBE - Every year's
Enchanted Forest is very different to any previous, here
is a 'You Tube'
clip of the 2009 Enchanted Forest Show (5mins 45 secs)
- our advise is to approach each year's show with an open mind, do
not anticipate it being the same as any other year - one thing is
for sure, it is always very well put together.
NEW Enchanted Forest for
2011.
This year the Enchanted Forest has a new venue, the
'Explorers Garden' behind Pitlochry Festival Theatre at Port
na Craig, Pitlochry (Please note:- there is no
parking at the Theatre for the Enchanted Forest, as parking is
reserved for people watching Whisky Galore at the
theatre).
The Enchanted Forest 2011 has a different
format, not just for the show, but also how you get there:-
How to get to the Enchanted forest?
Park your car in Pitlochry, (there will be
AA signs in the town directing everyone to the car parks), all
the restaurants
are geared up for you, so book yourself a table and make a real day
of it - Why not stay here, there is lots of accommodation
too!!
On the night of the Enchanted Forest show you can either:-
- Walk to the Enchanted forest - Down load your
Pitlochry map, a colour pictorial map of Pitlochry
with full guide to Highland Perthshire. (There will be AA signs
directing people walking to the Enchanted Forest, from
the centre of Pitlochry). Allow 15 to 20 mins to walk
from the centre of Pitlochry to the Enchanted Forest.
OR
- Catch bus to the
Enchanted Forest for £1 each way and be dropped off at
the show. The buses depart 15mins prior to each
show, departing from outside Fishers Hotel, in
Pitlochry main street (right in the middle of Pitlochry).
