The Scottish Crannog Centre
was built as a result of underwater
discoveries dating back 2,500 years. It is a living
experiment, that has a 'Gold Award' for best practice in
environmental management and is a 5 star visitor and educational
centre.
You can see some of the underwater
discoveries in the Scottish Crannog Centre exhibition;
walk over water into the Iron Age on the crannog tour, and test
your skills at ancient crafts and technology. Learn about a

Special
regular events at the Scottish Crannog Centre,
featuring artists, musicians, skilled craft workers and other
specialists who, together with the team of Iron Age guides,
actively bring the past to life. Also a

Centre, is a small gift shop offering an excellent se
lection of books, crafts, and related items. Also a
small, light and healthy refreshments snack bar.
Opening Times and Admission Fees - weekends
throughout November Sat/Sun only from 10am to
4:30pm.
Daily 11-19th February 10am to 4:30pm.
