About
Pitlochry in Winter
Pitlochry frosts arrive any
time from early (and some times even before) October through to the
end of May. Snow can call from any time from October onwards, but
does not often show its head until mid to late December through to
March and sometimes beyond.
Warmly wrapped with stout shoes are all that is required
to explore Pitlochry and the
surrounding area on a cold winters day. Walking through the town
you will discover another side to this popular highland town with
its Scottish Baronial Victorian architure.
Winter is a great time of the year to come and stay in
Pitlochry, you will often find competitive good value deals
being offered by the various Hotels, Guest Houses and Self-catering
cottages.
In the Gallery you will see a sellection of winter views taken
in and around Pitlochry. We hope to see you here on a winters
day.
