Blair-atholl-centre.jpgThose of you who are interested in the outdoors and would like some excellent information on the area, its wildlife, the walk and cycle routes, red squirrels, should visit the Atholl Estates Rangers Information Centre in the centre of Blair Atholl village.

Welcome-to-Atholl.jpgThe Atholl Estates Rangers are part funded by the Estate, and by Scottish Natural Heritage .

The Atholl Estates Rangers operate all year round, with one full-time ranger and 2 seasonal rangers. They assist visitors in their understanding and enjoyment of the area, and manage 9 waymarked trails for walkers and cyclists on the estate.rangers-activities.jpg

The Atholl Estates Information Centre was fully refurbished in 2011 with an opening in August 2011. It is located in Blair Atholl village, opposite the entrance to the Blair Castle Caravan Park, next to the Atholl Country Life Museum and 'Food in the Park' (Cafe, Fish and Chips and Pizza Restaurant).

The Information Centre has a number of features, which include displays on the workings of the estate and offers some activities for children. There is also information on what to do in the area, making the Centre a helpful reference point if you are planning any outdoor activities.

The centre is open from 9.00am to 4.45pm daily, between Easter and October.
