Highland Perthshire is ideally located on the main road and rail
communication
systems from Central Scotland to and from the
north of Scotland.

The local Pitlochry based bus company, Elizabeth Yules Buses has asked us to publish the following two time tables:-
Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Blair Atholl are all located on the main trunk road connecting Edinburgh and Glasgow in Central Scotland to the north of Scotland.
Coaches and Buses to, from, and in Highland Perthshire - being on the main road network, the area is served well by regular national coach carriers. There is a local bus service too.
Ironically Highland Perthshire boasts two of the main rail lines with trains from central Scotland and south from England passing through the area:-

The main
Edinburgh, Glasgow to Inverness and the north rail
route stops at Dunkeld, Pitlochry and Blair
Atholl railway stations. This gives visitors to the area the
opportunity
to travel south to Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling
for the day, OR north to Aviemore, Inverness and on to the
town of Wick on the north east coast of Scotland.

AirportsInverness airport is approximately 100 miles north - about 1hr and 45 minutes away. Edinburgh, to the south east, is about 70 miles away or 1 hr 30 minutes. Glasgow airport is about 2hrs 15 minutes away to the south west.
