Anne Gilchrist is based in Edinburgh, and specializes in paintings of the landscape and the Natural World.
The pictures in this exhibition are Anne’s response to the unfolding flowering season of Perthshire's botanical jewel, Ben Lawers and the surrounding area.
To get her inspiration, Ann spent many hours observing the area in all weathers – from sleet to baking hot sunshine – and was stunned by the sheer number, beauty and tenacity of the native plants, and the varieties of habitat there.
The exhibition hung as a rolling show at the National Trust for Scotland Centre in Killin over the summer months. Free Entry
